Chord music.
Here are some important things you have to know when you look at a piece of music.
1. Bars.
The bars are shown by the straight lines
in music. Bars are sets of beats grouped together.
Most music had four beats in each bar. A beat is
the strong feel of music. Beats are what we clap or
tap our feet along to.
2. Time signature.
These are shown at the
beginning of every song to let us know how
many beats there are in each bar. We will strum
the guitar once for each beat.
Songs in have four beats in each bar, so we strum four times for each bar.
Songs in have three beats in each bar, so we strum three times for each bar.
3. Chord names.
