1. Learn these chord shapes off by heart making
sure that you use the fingers as shown. Take
note of the similarities to the major chord
shapes.
2. Practice strumming them. Be sure to strum the
right number of strings.
3. Check the sound of each string by forming the
chord and then picking each string in the chord
to make sure that the string rings clearly.
If a string does not ring clearly you might
not have -
(a) the shape of your hand and / or
fingers right. This could lead to
- a finger not sitting properly
- a finger falling over and touching
another string.
