Featuring Scott.
Scott is another person who has a lot of fun in a home studio.
It is so easy these days to record yourself using the home computer.
Scott has written and recorded a 7 track CD over the last year.
The title of the CD is "Crumbs on the Bottom".
Although the band is called "Good Dippin' Biscuits" it is a
one man show. Scott plays all the guitar work. As well he
plays synth, programs the MIDI, and does some vocals. |

Featuring Kirsten.
She played all the interesting guitar on these tracks.
She is now living her dream of playing in a working band,
gigging 2 to 3 times each week.
All the songs are originals. Mostly written by the singer Matthew,
with Kirsten adding her magic on extra guitar parts.
The band mostly performs covers so they can get regular gigs at
pubs and clubs. Amongst the covers they add some of their originals.
The band finds that the covers are always received well,
even though the the punters aren't sure where they've
heard the song before! |

A high school teacher by day. A rock n roll animal by night!
Brad writes all the songs, either on his own or with a friend or
two.
The songs are often a reflection of his personal experiences,
or they are an observation of others.
Using his home recording studio and his trusty computer he sits
for
hours enjoying turning his ideas into an audio reality.
He does all the arranging and MIDI instruments himself.
Brad then has friends help with vocals, keyboards and
also some extra guitar work. |

Peter has a love affair with solo guitar.
He wrote these pieces himself, embracing the
ideas and tricks from his favourite guitarists,
in particular Leo Kottke.
Tracks 1 and 2 were recorded in a professional
studio, while the others were recorded in Peters
home studio. He had a lot of trouble getting the
whole thing up and running!! Thankfully now
he enjoys the time he can spend on his own and
with his musical children in the studio.

Once again all the guitar work is real. Kurt worked hard on this
piece which has a twin guitar lead.
The second half of the example is in harmony with an
amazingly difficult ending. |

Daniel played all the guitar work (rhythm and lead)
on the recording. The drums, bass, etc is provided
by a synthesizer.
He "wrote" the solo himself, stealing ideas from
Poison, Kirk Hammett and SR Vaughan. |

The glory days of guitar instrumentals have returned !!
Noel has a passion for the music of bands like
The Shadows and The Atlantics, etc.
He enjoys playing the songs and he hopes he is helping
to keep this style of music alive for younger guitarists
to listen to and enjoy.
Noel enjoys adding personal touches to the songs with some
interesting variations and improvisations. Noel’s clever
use of the vibrato arm and his famous double picking
help to reproduce the authentic Shadows sound. |

Another enthusiast for instrumental music.
Graham has a passion for the music of bands like
The Shadows and The Atlantics.
He especially enjoys The Atlantics - Australia's most
famous instrumental band. They have had a few
hits over the years including the mega hit Bombora.
Graham takes great care in perfecting all the small
touches in his songs - things like the vibrato, slides and
string choices. He is also starting to add some
double picking to add his own flavour to the songs. |
